The Association of Former Students

The remarkable history of Texas A&M is celebrated in exhibits throughout the university’s Association of Former Students. The Aggie Spirit is felt throughout exhibits that showcase Aggie traditions. Students, alumni and friends have the opportunity to lead an Aggie yell at Midnight Yell Practice, record their memories as an Aggie student, or get a unique 360-degree view of these time-honored traditions.

I acted as the lead designer for this project, directing a team of five exhibit designers and developers. Working with BBI Engineering in San Francisco, CA we co-developed media that was integrated with the associations larger database systems to facilitate updating media in the exhibits.

A two story tower of Aggie portraits draws visitors to the exhibits on the second floor.

An elegant display in celebration of Aggie history sweeps through the center of the gallery space.

A collection of Aggie rings spans the history of Texas A&M and serves as the backbone of a historical timeline.

Former students can record their memories in a miniature recording studio.

See how good you are as an Aggie Yell Leader at Kyle Field.

Visitors immerse themselves in Aggie traditions of Silver Taps, Midnight Yell, football, and marching band. The track ball allows visitors to look in any direction within the video as it is playing.

A large touchscreen allows visitors to access multiple databases describing the accomplishments of distinguished Aggies.
